Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Enrollment starts October 1, 2013. The website to start the enrollment process is, created by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary source of information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA). It was designed to help Americans prepare for the changes ahead. The site has tools to help consumers understand their choices and select the coverage that best suits their needs. Starting October 1st, there will be links to actual forms.

Coverage begins January 1, 2014, and open enrollment closes on March 31, 2014.

Toll free operators can offer assistance in more than 150 languages. Currently they can provide education about options; after October 1st they can help enroll.
